How long until I receive my garter?
Orders are made and shipped in the order that they are received. It can take up to 3 weeks to complete and ship out your order. That means, it can take 21 days PLUS 2-4 business days for shipment time. If there is a case where there are an excessive amount of orders ahead of yours, then an email will be sent out with an estimated shipment date. Larger orders will take longer and details will be given through email.

My wedding is in 2 weeks, if I order now can you make sure it will come in on time?
Garters can take up to 3 weeks to send out. I make the garters in the order that they are purchased, so the time it takes is dependent on the amount of orders I have in front of yours. If you would like to be bumped to the top of the list then you may upgrade your order by adding Rush Service for an additional fee. Please see Rush Service for more info.
How will I know when my box was shipped?
When an item is purchased, I will print out a shipping label from Pay Pal and it will be mailed out using USPS. You will receive an email from Pay Pal with a tracking number and a message from me indicating what the email is for. Just because you have received an email with a tracking number does not mean your item has been shipped. Sometimes I will print the label before hand and your item will be shipped out when it is ready. You can, however use that tracking number to check the status of your item to see if it has been accepted by the post office and from there on track the progress of shipment.
What payment methods do you accept?
To ensure your protection, I only use PayPal which is a widely known and accepted payment method. By using Pay Pal, I do not see your credit card information at all. You can find out more info by reading the Payment Page.
Do you take custom orders?
Definitely - I try my best to fulfill every single request I receive, so please ask if you have something specific in mind. Please see the Custom Orders page for more info.
I don't want any of my personal information shared, nor do I want to be on any mailing list. Will my information be kept confidential?
Absolutely. MST is a small, military family-run business - not a big, corporate one. I have no mailing list, and the only contact you will receive from me is a thank you/informational e-mail about your purchase, and then the shipping information/confirmation e-mail. I only need your name and address so I know where to send your box.
How come you only make military themed garters?
I am an Army wife and when I got married, I couldn’t find any garters that truly represented my husband’s military branch. Most of the garters I saw used a generic camouflage material and lapel pins to identify it as a particular branch. I wanted to offer something that would truly represent and identify with your military branch. I find that so many online stores cater to so many themes, that the military side doesn’t get the attention it deserves. I use actual military issued camouflage material and add a feminine touch to create the beautiful garters that you see. I want to put the military wife, fiancé, and girlfriend first!
Are the garters handmade?
Yes, all of the garters are handmade by myself. I have been crafting and sewing for over 10 years. Being a military wife, I know the pride we women take in supporting and honoring our particular military branch, which is why I go the extra mile to ensure that I am 100% satisfied with all of the garters I make before they are shipped out.
What makes garters from Military Sweet Things stand out from the rest?
Unlike other garters that you find online, who use a generic camouflage pattern, I use the actual camouflage material that is used on standard issued uniforms for each branch. The dog tag charms that are used are one of a kind and made exclusively by Military Sweet Things. Instead of just gluing a simple lapel pin to the front of the garter, I take a lot of time and effort to find quality charms that will represent your military branch for that special day. I take a lot of time to come up with designs that will represent your branch in a way that is elegant and unique. All designs are original and are sole property of Military Sweet Things.
Are you/your products affiliated with any companies?
No. Items are individually HANDCRAFTED items made from lawfully purchased, licensed merchandise and adornments. All trademarks are property of their respective owners.
